Remodeling Begins!!

So as you can see above.... Remodeling is under way. The picture with the yellow wall is the Toddler Classroom. The other three pictures are the Primary Classroom. The walls are out and the plumbing is in! The classrooms are filled with natural light and free open space. It is very exciting to see this progress.... I cannot wait for more to come! The painting of the classrooms will begin this weekend, with the Primary class being painted a natural, sand color. The Toddler room is being painted a soft, sage green color. The classrooms are beautiful and will only become more beautiful as the shelving and materials arrive. I look forward to sharing this beautiful space with each of you! I will attach more pictures later this week so everyone can see the progress. Thank you for all the support and excitement about the school, I feel the wonderful energy with each step!

  1. Dear Kate,
My name is Paige Holloway; I live here in the Nashville area; and I have been trained in and have trained teachers for 23 years in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. I received my Infancy Montessori training from the AMI training facility in Houston, Texas from Silvana Montanaro and Judi Maloof Bodi and I trained with Gionni Gobbi for all three levels of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. I have been blessed to have been a part of many start-up Good Shepherd programs and one Infancy/Toddler-8th grade school. I have trained teachers in the Good SHepherd in the smallest and the largest of churches in many towns and cities in Texas and Colorado. God has blessed me in this ministry more than any other in my life. My oldest daughter saw your flier outside of her classroom at Aquinas and said when she read it; she first thought of me. I would love to have a lunch with you; or a phone conversation to share experiences and our common love for this work. It has been my life-long and heart's desire to start a Christian Montessori school. The blend of the two brings Montessori's earliest work full-circle. I would love to meet you and at least, if nothing else, encourage you in your vision. I had already had a conversation with the people at Belmont about continuing my education and getting my master's with an emphasis on the Primary training. The head of the program at Belmont knew many of the people I have been involved with over the years and seemed excited about the Good Shepherd, as well. I was thinking of re-entering nursing school until I have just seen this work you are doing. It has my heart excited like it has not been in many years. Maybe the Lord would have us meet and share. My e-mail is PTH37064@msn.com. Please contact me if you are interested. Thank you, Paige Holloway
